Medgrab is a site where you can 1) sign up to receive email alerts of the Tables-of-Contents of journals in your field or 2) sign up for saved searches that will alert you to recent articles on that topic. It also serves as an example for the library community of a table of contents alerting service.

JOURNAL EMAIL ALERTS

Select the journals alphabetically or by category from the list on the right and sign up. You will be asked for your email address.

Now that you have signed up, you will receive an email alert with the table-of-contents each time that journal is published.

SPECIALIZED SEARCH EMAIL ALERTS

Click on the last item on the list to the right “What’s new—specialized news feeds.” We have been asked to establish these searches. If you’re interested, you may sign up for one of these.
